About Cutspan

Cutspan turns a list of rectangular parts into a practical sheet layout. It was built for people who need an answer they can check and take to the workshop — not a percentage with no drawing behind it.

What it does

Enter finished part sizes, sheet sizes, saw kerf, trim and grain rules. Cutspan works out the sheets required, draws every placement and prepares workshop files including PDF, CSV, DXF and supported machine formats.

What makes it different

The optimiser, file reader, AI assistant and machining editor share the same cut list. You can begin with a typed list, a CSV, a drawing or a photograph, inspect the result, then export it without rebuilding the job in another tool.

What it does not decide

Cutspan does not inspect your material, choose a safe cutting sequence or prove a machine program on your equipment. Defects, clamping, tooling, machine limits and workshop safety remain with the person doing the work.
