Biesse BPP files from a cut list

Drawing the same door or cabinet side again in BiesseWorks is the slow part of a job. Cutspan writes the BPP program from the cut list you already have, with the machining placed on each part and the parts placed on each sheet.

Honest about proving

Every file says: dry-run firstBiesse machines and their configurations differ. Each generated program carries a note in its header to run it dry first. Check the zero corner, tool numbers and depths, then prove the first program on scrap.

Per part or per sheet

A single part is exported from the machining editor. For a nested job, each sheet becomes its own BPP with every part cut out in its position and its own drilling. If a sheet cannot be built — for example when a cutter is missing from the tool library — the reason is shown for that sheet rather than a silent empty file.

Questions

Can I open my old BPP files?

Yes. An existing BPP can be opened to read the part outline and machining back into a job; anything that cannot be carried over is listed.

Is the file guaranteed to run on my machine?

No. Prove it dry and on scrap first. The drawing and PDF plan are the reference for checking it.

Does it cost anything?
